Pro Bono Information Management System
The portal below provides information about these certified pro bono organizations, law school clinics and government programs.
It also provides a means by which entities seeking to be certified may apply for approval. Beginning in 2016, approved entities must
submit an annual recertification form by April 30th. Rule. 1:21-11.
Instructions on Using the New Jersey Judiciary Pro Bono Organizations Portal
- If you are an attorney who would like to perform pro bono service for a qualifying organization or if you are an out-of-state attorney seeking to perform pro bono work for an organization under Rule 1:21-3(c), click “view approved organizations” below, then click “pro bono organizations” to sort the list for these organizations.
- If you are a law student or a graduate of an ABA approved law school, you may appear before a trial court or agency with an approved law school program or government organization. For information regarding approved programs, click “view approved organizations” below, then click “law school programs” to sort the list for these organizations.
- If you would like to apply for certification: 1) as a pro bono organization, 2) as a law school clinic or government program, or 3) for fee waiver status, then click “apply to be an approved organization.” On the form under “Additional information” select one or more of the following:
