The New Jersey Judiciary today announced the release of its 2011-2012 Annual Report.
The annual report provides an overview of programs and services provided by the New Jersey Courts. It also highlights recent initiatives and achievements that demonstrate the Judiciary’s commitment to providing excellent service for all court users.
In his introduction, Chief Justice Stuart Rabner notes that “true justice depends not only on the fairness of court rulings but also on a system that is accessible to all.” The annual report provides details on a number of projects aimed at expanding access to the courts, including the statewide Access and Fairness Initiative, expanded online access to court services and programs, and more Spanish-language information on the Judiciary website, njcourts.com.
Judge Glenn A. Grant, acting administrative director of the courts, points to some of the Judiciary’s most successful programs as evidence of the hard work and commitment of Judiciary personnel. “From technology initiatives to therapeutic jurisprudence to public outreach, our court system continues to be a national leader in serving the community in practical, proven ways,” Judge Grant said.
