Supreme Court to Hear Oral Argument in COAH Matter

The New Jersey Supreme Court will hear oral argument in A-90/91/92/93/94-10 IMO Adoption of N.J.A.C. 5:96 (COAH), on Wednesday, Nov. 7 at 10 a.m. in the Supreme Court courtroom on the 8th floor of the Hughes Justice Complex, 25 Market St., Trenton. (Are these "third-round" rules adopted by the Council on Affordable Housing under the Fair Housing Act N.J.S.A. 52:27D-301 to -329.19, which establish municipalities' obligations to provide affordable housing, invalid because they include a compliance mechanism that involves use of a "growth share methodology”?)

Reporters should be seated by 9:45 a.m. Unoccupied reserved seats will be given to reporters on a waiting list at 9:50 a.m. Allow time for passing through security in the Justice Complex lobby.
