Media Advisory - Upcoming Supreme Court Oral Argument

Oral argument in the matter of Abbott v. Burke will be heard at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 5, 2011 in the Supreme Court courtroom on the 8th floor of the Hughes Justice Complex, 25 Market St., Trenton. The issue before the court is a motion in aid of litigants’ rights filed by the Education Law Center.
Seating for the media is limited and will be reserved in the order requests are received. Only one seat will be reserved for each news organization. Reporters and photographers must wear press credentials to be admitted to the reserved seating area. Reporters are asked to be seated by 9:45 a.m. At 9:55 a.m., unused reserved seats will be given to reporters on a waiting list.

Allow time for passing through security in the Justice Complex lobby. Photo ID, preferably a driver’s license, must be shown.
