Statement by Chief Justice Stuart Rabner on the Passing of Judge Sybil R. Moses
"Today New Jersey lost a giant in the modern era of the Judiciary. Sybil Moses was a trailblazer for women in the courts. She was a strong and visionary leader of the Bergen County justice system. At the same time, she was a thoughtful and compassionate jurist; her concerns for the well-being of judges, lawyers, staff, and the public were legendary.
"We will long remember her years of exceptional and dedicated service. Our prayers and sympathy are with her family today," said Chief Justice Rabner.
