Chief Justice Stuart Rabner to Swear in New Attorneys at Trenton War Memorial

The Supreme Court of New Jersey and the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey will co-host a swearing-in ceremony for new attorneys in the Patriots' Theater at the Trenton War Memorial on Tuesday, Dec. 4, at 10 a.m.

The event will mark the first time that Chief Justice Stuart Rabner has presided over the swearing in of new attorneys.

After welcoming the candidates and their guests, Chief Justice Rabner will call on Lynn Fontaine Newsome, Esq., president of the New Jersey Bar Association, to move the admission of the new attorneys to the Bar of the State of New Jersey.

Chief Judge Garrett E. Brown Jr. also will provide welcoming remarks. He will then call on Jeffrey J. Greenbaum, president of the Association of the Federal Bar of the State of New Jersey to move the admission of the new attorneys to the Bar of the United States District Court, District of New Jersey.

Chief Justice Rabner will be the principal speaker for both courts. Additional speakers will include Bar President Newsome and Melville D. Miller Jr., Esq., president and general counsel of Legal Services of New Jersey, Inc.
