Passaic Courts' Minority Concerns Committee Offers Program through Hillcrest Neighborhood Association

Members of the Superior Court's Advisory Committee on Minority Concerns will join the Hillcrest Neighborhood Association at the Association's monthly meeting on Wednesday, Jan. 31. Committee representatives will present information on four topics: domestic violence, victim's rights, gang awareness and immigration issues. The Hillcrest Neighborhood Association meeting will begin at 7 p.m. and is open to residents of Paterson's 2nd Ward.

The Superior Court Advisory Committee's primary role is to develop programs that will improve the courts' ability to serve minorities in the community. The committee is made up of Superior Court employees, members of local businesses, community leaders and residents of Passaic County.

Questions regarding the Hillcrest meeting may be directed to Zenaida Almario at 973-413-7546. Agencies and organizations interested in the Superior Court Speakers Bureau should contact Vicinage Ombudsman Renita McKinney at 973-247-8651.
