Christine Carter Named Municipal Division Manager
for Atlantic and Cape May Vicinage
Cape May County resident Christine Carter has been named the Municipal Division manager of the Atlantic/Cape May Vicinage, Assignment Judge Valerie H. Armstrong announced today.
As Municipal Division manager, Mrs. Carter’s responsibilities will include working with the presiding judge of the municipal courts to oversee the work of the Municipal Court Division. She will be an integral part of maintaining continuity between the 36 municipalities in the Atlantic/Cape May Vicinage.
“Christine Carter has proven herself as a dedicated leader and she brings a great deal of experience to the position,” said Judge Valerie H. Armstrong. “I am confident that she will serve the people of the Atlantic/Cape May Vicinage with vision and commitment.”
Mrs. Carter began her Judiciary career in Cape May, where she served as a municipal court clerk. In 1990, she was named assistant Municipal Division manager of the Atlantic/Cape May Vicinage. She was involved with numerous aspects of the municipal courts and became familiar with the daily operations of the 36 municipalities.
“I am honored and excited to be given this responsibility and I look forward to serving the residents of Atlantic/Cape May Counties in this new position,” stated Mrs. Carter.
Mrs. Carter resides in Cold Spring, Lower Township, Cape May County, with her husband, Russell, a construction supervisor. They have a daughter, Stacey, an accomplished artist currently living in San Francisco, Ca.
