MONMOUTH VICINAGE HONORS ITS VOLUNTEERS
FREEHOLD - The Superior Court of New Jersey, Monmouth Vicinage is pleased to announce that it will honor the valuable work of court volunteers at the 2006 Volunteer Recognition Dinner on Thursday April 27, 2006 at the Jumping Brook Country Club in Neptune New Jersey. The Judiciary has nearly 5,oo0 volunteers statewide, with more than 400 in the Monmouth Vicinage. Their work includes participating in programs that aid children and families in crisis, dispute mediation, support and direction of juvenile probationers, and participation in Supreme Court and vicinage committees.
The program will include remarks by Assignment Judge Lawrence M. Lawson and Family Division Presiding Judge Paul A. Kapalko. Trial Court Administrator Marsi L. Perkins will introduce special guest Dr. Michael Fowlin.
Dr. Michael Fowlin will present his fast-paced, entertaining program entitled "You Don't Know Me Until You Know Me, A Dance With Diversity."
The John A. McCormick Volunteer of the Year Award will be presented this year to C. Little Deer Clark, who has dedicated more than 30 years of volunteer service to the Monmouth Vicinage.
Assignment Judge Lawson will swear in new volunteers and Judge Kapalko will present Years of Service awards to the volunteers who have completed 5, 10, and 20 years of service.
