Monmouth County Courts to Hold Law Informational Fair

The Superior Court of New Jersey, Monmouth Vicinage will hold a "Law Information Fair" at the New Beginnings Agape Christian Center, Banquet Conference Center, 133 Throckmorton Street, Freehold from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 18. The fair will include an "Ask a Lawyer" program with free 15-minute consultations with attorneys from the Monmouth Bar Association and Ocean-Monmouth Legal Services. Panel discussions will be held on domestic violence, child support, expungements, landlord/tenant rights and jobs/volunteer/vendor opportunities. Court personnel will be available to answer questions and distribute brochures. Spanish language interpreters will be on hand. The program is free and open to the public.

This program is the final in a series of community outreach programs held by the Monmouth Vicinage in celebration of Law Day 2005. Previous programs included a job fair, educational programs for students and teachers, and additional community information sessions.

The programs are co-sponsored by the Vicinage Advisory Committee on Minority Concerns, the Hispanic Affairs and Resource Center, the NAACP Asbury Park/Neptune Branches and the Ocean-Monmouth Legal Services.
