State v. Jayson S. Williams - oral argument removed from calendar
The Appellate Division oral argument in the matter of State v. Jayson S. Williams, originally scheduled for Wed., March 12 at 10:00 a.m. in the Supreme Court courtroom, Richard J. Hughes Justice Complex, Trenton, will not be held. See the attached Order for details.
Courier News v. Hunterdon County Prosecutor - oral argument scheduled
Oral argument in the matter of Courier News v. Hunterdon County Prosecutor, where the issue is access by the newspaper to the emergency 911 tapes of Feb. 14, 2002, will be heard by the Appellate Division on Wed., March 12 at 10:00 a.m. in the Supreme Court courtroom, Richard J. Hughes Justice Complex, Trenton.
Seating for the media is limited and will be reserved in the order requests are received. Only one seat will be reserved for each news organization. Reporters and photographers are asked to wear press credentials to be seated in the reserved seats in the courtroom. Reporters are asked to be seated by 9:45 a.m. At 9:50 a.m., reserved seats will be given to reporters on a waiting list.
News organizations must make arrangements for still or video cameras in the courtroom through the Judiciary press office, according to the Supreme Court guidelines. If demand for space is high, photographers will use a pooling arrangement. The press office will provide further information on pooling when photographers call for reservations.
