New Jersey Supreme Court Associate Justice Barry T. Albin today took the Oath of Office in a private ceremony. Chief Justice Deborah T. Poritz administered the oath.
Justice Albin was sworn in at the first available opportunity, following his confirmation by the Senate on Sept. 12, so that he could begin his duties immediately as a member of the Supreme Court. He will take a ceremonial oath on Oct. 3 at 4:00 p.m. in the Trenton War Memorial.
