Acting Administrative Director, Richard J. Williams Announced the Appointment of Steven Wilkins Chief of Training and Staff Development

Acting Administrative Director, Richard J. Williams, today announced the appointment of Steven Wilkins as the new Chief of Training and Staff Development in the Education and Training Division of the Administrative Office of the Courts. He will replace the late John Neufeld.
Mr. Wilkins brings more than twelve years of experience in training management and development to his new responsibilities. Following eight years as an administrator and management development trainer for Jersey Central Power and Light Company (now GPU Energy), Mr. Wilkins became the training coordinator for the Superior Court, Essex Vicinage in 1994. Among his accomplishments were the initiation of a cooperative multi-vicinage training program with the Superior Court of Hudson County and the development of training partnerships with Essex County College, the University Hospital of Newark and the New Jersey Institute of Technology.
In his new role, Mr. Wilkins will be responsible for coordination of statewide training of the judiciarys more than 7000 person staff.
The Howell resident is a 1982 graduate of North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University in Greensboro, North Carolina. He is married to Dawn DuVerney-Wilkins, Esq., and they have two children, Ross, ten years old and Drew, seven years old.
