The Information Technology Division is responsible for meeting the data processing needs of the vicinage. The office coordinates all data processing projects, upgrades, and new installations; administers the network environment; and maintains the day-to-day operation of computer equipment. This includes troubleshooting hardware and software problems and granting access to systems and resources, as well as writing and maintaining specialized software programs, and upgrading equipment as necessary. The Information Technology Division creates and maintains user accounts and passwords on most judiciary computer systems. Passaic Vicinages Internet and Intranet web pages are created and maintained by the Information Technology Division.
Information Technology staff are responsible for educating Judiciary staff in the usage of standard hardware and software, and assisting the Vicinage Training Coordinator with software training.
The Information Technology Division is located in Room 202 of the Old Courthouse.
