Ocean County Judicial Advisory Committee

In August, 1985, Assignment Judge Eugene D. Serpentelli issued a formal court order appointing the Ocean County Jury Citizens Advisory Committee, the first such group in the State of New Jersey. The group convened to examine the nature of jury service in the county, and to advise the Court on its findings and recommendations. In 1995 this Committee celebrated its 10th Anniversary, with a long list of accomplishments in many areas of concern to jurors. With the State-wide unification of the Courts, the efforts of the Advisory Committee have been instrumental in maintaining the best possible atmosphere for Ocean County jurors.
