Civil Trial Adjournment Procedure for Ocean County
All Adjournment request must be submitted in writing via regular mail or email. Please use the following email address when submitting adjournment requests:

Please include the following information with the request:
- Case Name and Docket Number
- Current trial date
- Name of party that is requesting the adjournment
- Contact information of the requesting party
- The specific reason for the adjournment request
- Indicate whether consent has been given to adjourn by all involved
Once an adjournment requested has been received and reviewed, a member of the trial coordination staff will contact the requesting party with respect to the request.
