NOTICE TO THE BAR
RE: Application to Centralize the Management of all Litigation Arising from Alleged Actions of Former Nurse Charles Cullen
An application has been submitted to the Supreme Court, through the Administrative Director of the Courts, to centralize the management of all civil litigation (pending and subsequently filed) arising from the alleged actions of former nurse Charles Cullen, and to assign all such litigation to a single county. Although this application is for centralized management, but not for designation of these cases as a mass tort, the provisions of Directive #11-03 ("Mass Torts - - Guidelines and Criteria for Designation") are nonetheless applicable. Copies of the application may be obtained from:
Peter L. Korn, Esq.
Anyone wishing to comment on or object to this application should provide such comments or objections, with relevant supporting documentation, to the Administrative Director of the Courts, P. O. Box 037, Trenton, NJ 08625-0037, by September 3, 2004.
