ORDER

Appointments to Committee on Opinions

Pursuant to Rule 1:36-2, it is ORDERED that, effective January 1, 2004 nunc pro tunc and until further order, the following are appointed as members of the Committee on Opinions:

Hon. Melvin P. Antell, Retired Judge of the Superior Court, Appellate Division (Chair)

Hon. David Landau, Retired Judge of the Superior Court, Appellate Division; and

It is FURTHER ORDERED that the two above-listed members of the Committee on Opinions shall each receive a quarterly stipend of $3,500, provided, however, that such sums, together with the members' respective judicial retirement pensions and any per diem compensation for recall judicial service, shall not exceed the current salaries of the court from which they retired; and

It is FURTHER ORDERED that, effective immediately and until further order, Appellate Division Presiding Judge for Administration Sylvia B. Pressler is appointed to serve as a member of the Committee on Opinions without compensation;

This Order supersedes all prior Orders regarding the membership of the Committee on Opinions, including the Orders of November 9, 1993 and December 9, 2002, as well as the Order of September 11, 2000 as to the quarterly stipend for the compensated members.
