Pursuant to the Mass Tort Guidelines, an application has been made to the Supreme Court, through the Administrative Director of the Courts, to designate the Long Branch Manufactured Gas Plant Litigation, now pending in Monmouth County, as a mass tort for centralized management. This litigation includes Alston v. NJNG et al. (MON-L-2883-03 and related cases), Hunt v. NJNG et al. (MON-L-3597-03 and related cases), Reid v. NJNG et al. (MON-L-4356-03 and related cases), and Gaskin v. NJNG et al. (MON-L-005662-03 and related cases).

Anyone wishing to comment on or object to this application should provide such comments or objections, with relevant supporting documentation, to the Administrative Director of the Courts, P. O. Box 037, Trenton, NJ 08625-0037, by January 13, 2004.
