NOTICE TO THE BAR
RE: Supreme Court Administrative Determinations in Response to Reports of Commission on Rules of Professional Responsibility and Ad Hoc Committee on Bar Admissions
The Supreme Court has prepared separate Administrative Determinations in response to the reports of the Commission on the Rules of Professional Responsibility (the "Pollock Commission") and the Ad Hoc Committee on Bar Admissions (the "Wallace Committee"). The Court's decisions are being published contemporaneously with this Notice.
The amendments to the Rules of Professional Responsibility and the Rules of Court set forth in the Administrative Determinations are being formally adopted by Supreme Court Order and will take effect January 1, 2004. As noted in the Administrative Determinations, additional Rule amendments may follow to implement fully some of the decisions the Court has made. Action on those proposals will likely occur in 2004.
The Administrative Determinations and the reports of the Pollock Commission and the Wallace Committee that underlie them can also be found on the Judiciary's website at www.njcourtsonline.com.
