NOTICE TO THE BAR


Notice of Presumed Abandoned Funds on Deposit with the Clerk of the Superior Court

PURSUANT to N.J.S.A. 46:30B-1 et seq., the funds presently on deposit with the Clerk of the Superior Court which have remained on deposit and UNCLAIMED for a period of ten (10) years or more are presumed ABANDONED.

AND PURSUANT to N.J.S.A. 46:30B-50.1, the Clerk of the Superior Court POSTED on August 3, 2001, in his office and in each County Clerk's office where public notices are customarily posted, a NOTICE setting forth the case name and docket number of each case in which a deposit is presumed ABANDONED and indicating that if the apparent owner did not move to seek an ORDER to withdraw the sum on deposit within SIXTY (60) DAYS of the date of the posting of the NOTICE, the sum on deposit and all accretions would be delivered to the State Treasurer, to whom all further claims must be made;

AND IN ADDITION TO NOTICE HAVING BEEN MADE AS AFORESAID, TAKE NOTICE THAT THE FUNDS DECLARED ABANDONED BY THE CLERK OF THE SUPERIOR COURT WILL BE ESCHEATED TO THE STATE OF NEW JERSEY ON OR ABOUT NOVEMBER 1, 2001. ANY INQUIRIES CONCERNING THESE FUNDS SHOULD BE MADE BY CALLING (609-292-3937) OR WRITING THE TRUST FUND UNIT, SUPERIOR COURT OF NEW JERSEY, P.O. Box 971, TRENTON, NEW JERSEY 08625.
