SUPREME COURT OF NEW JERSEY
WHEREAS the New Jersey Judiciary has been working closely with the Executive Branch to implement a new automated child support enforcement system, known as NJKiDS (New Jersey Kids Deserve Support), to replace the current system, known as ACSES (Automated Child Support Enforcement System); and
WHEREAS the NJKiDS implementation process requires both systems to operate concurrently until NJKiDS is in place and operational in all 21 counties;
THEREFORE IT IS ORDERED, pursuant to N.J. Const. (1947), Art. VI, §2, ¶ 3, that, effective immediately and until further order, the following Rules of Court are relaxed and supplemented such that references therein to ACSES shall be deemed also to be references to NJKiDS; specifically,
2. Rule 5:7-4(b) is relaxed so as to authorize the use of NJKiDS as well as ACSES for administering child support payable through the Probation Division.
