Order -- Filing Deadlines Tolled January 2 Because of Postal Service Closure on National Day of Mourning for Former President Ford

Whereas the President has proclaimed Tuesday, January 2, 2007 as a National Day of Mourning for former President Gerald Ford and by Executive Order has closed federal offices, including the United States Postal Service for regular mail delivery, on that day;

IT IS ORDERED that in the computation of time periods under the Rules of Court and any statute of limitations, for purposes of filing deadlines January 2, 2007 shall be deemed the same as a legal holiday.
