Surrogate
The Office of the Surrogate is located on the first floor of the new County Administration Building. The Surrogate's Office functions as a court with jurisdiction over uncontested probate matters such as wills, guardianships, administrations, trusteeships, etc. With respect to contested probate matters, the Surrogate serves as a clerk for the court hearing the matter.
