PETIT JURORS SCHEDULED TO BEGIN THEIR 2 DAY CALL-IN
Please Read Below for Additional Instructions
The petit jury term of service is 2 Day Call-In / 1 Trial. If you are instructed to appear and are empaneled as a juror for a trial, you must remain for the duration of the trial and must return to the Courthouse until that trial is completed. If you are not selected to serve on a trial by the end of the 2 day term, you are dismissed.
Reporting jurors must report to the Jury Assembly Room located on the Plaza Level - Just behind the Lobby.
Please check the website or call: 973-579-0700 anytime after 5:00 PM the night before your start date to find out if you will be needed. If not needed, Jurors must report to work or follow your normal routine.
The Jury Assembly Room is located in the Sussex County Judicial Complex - 43-47 High Street, Newton, New Jersey.

Parking is free for jurors in the lot adjacent to the Courthouse. You enter the lot on High Street, (the first right after leaving the Square.)
In case of inclement weather, you may call our Main Number: 973-579-0675 to see if the Courthouse is open. The automated message will be updated with emergency closing information as soon as a decision is made indicating a court closing or delayed opening. You may also listen for emergency closings or delayed openings on the following radio stations: WSUS 102.3 FM, WNNJ 103.7 FM OR 1360 AM.
