Jury Reporting Information

For Petit Jurors

MONDAY, MARCH 30, 2015

                                       

Jurors from group #21 with a four digit juror # 0258 and higher are excused from jury service. All other jurors must report as scheduled. If you were postponed into this date and your letter states postponed then you must report. (You were postponed if you rescheduled and received a letter in the mail advising you that you must report.) Also if you did not fill out your jury summons, then you must automatically report to jury service.

                           

Please be advised that your term of service is one day or one trial. This means jurors not selected for a trial by 4:15 p.m. have completed their service. Those selected are required to be present for the duration of the trial.

    Please bring your jury summons with you and your parking ticket to validate.

                                                                     Reporting time for jury duty is 8:00 a.m.

 For security purposes, you must bring your summons and a form of identification with you when you report.

The jury assembly room is located on the ground floor of the Middlesex County courthouse, 56 Paterson Street, New Brunswick, this is the main address. (JURORS SHOULD ENTER ON THE BAYARD STREET SIDE)

Juror Parking

As a courtesy to jurors, we offer free parking; however, only if you park in either the Wellness Center Deck located on 95 Paterson Street or the New Street Deck on 134 New Street. Oversized vehicles may park in the Paterson Street Deck. Please bring your parking deck ticket into the jury office for validation. Please note that we are not responsible for any costs that jurors may incur from parking illegally or in an unauthorized garage. THE FERREN DECK IS CLOSED.
