Jury Reporting Information

For Petit Jurors Summoned the Week of

February 27, 2017

These instructions take precedence over text or email messages you may receive.

 

In the event of inclement weather or other emergencies,

please call 908-237-5860 for updated reporting instructions.  

 

Only Jurors #1 through and including #204 must report on

Tuesday, February 28, 2017 at 9:00 A.M.  

         All other jurors are not needed on Tuesday.

         Therefore, if you work, you should report to your

         place of employment or follow your normal routine.

        

All Jurors remain on call and must view this website or call

the recorded message (908-237-5860) after 5 P.M. on Tuesday, 

February 28, 2017 to check on reporting instructions for

Wednesday, March 1, 2017.

 

 

Those Jurors currently serving on a trial must report

on the date/time specified by the Judge.

PARKING

Free parking is available for jurors in a lot on Capner Street located approximately 200 yards west of the Justice Center (past its intersection with Park Avenue). From Main St. in Flemington turn on to Capner St. at the Flemington post office. At the  four-way stop, go straight and the parking lot is about 1/8th of a mile down the block on the right hand side.  Turn right into the lot, which is indicated by a green sign that notes Justice Center parking. You may also access the parking lot from Park Avenue.

Please be aware that street parking regulations are strictly enforced including 2 hour limits and unauthorized parking in other lots.

REPORT TO THE JURY ASSEMBLY ROOM

When you arrive, please be prepared to present your jury summons with the barcode. We will scan your paperwork, present you with a juror badge holder, and provide juror orientation.

We have a refrigerator, a microwave and wireless internet access available for your use. Please note, backpacks and large bags will not be permitted in the courtroom and must be left in the Jury Assembly Room.
