Bergen County Superior Court Jury Reporting Information 

 

NOTE: THIS MESSAGE DOES NOT APPLY TO JURORS WHO ARE PRESENTLY SERVING ON A CASE (I.E. EMPANELLED). JURORS WHO ARE ON A TRIAL, YOU MUST FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS OF THE JUDGE'S REPORTING INSTRUCTIONS.

ALL JURORS ARE TO REPORT THIS INCLUDES THOSE WHO ARE POSTPONED.

 

 

PLEASE REPORT AT 8:15 A.M. TO THE BERGEN COUNTY COURT HOUSE, 10 MAIN ST, HACKENSACK, NJ, ROOM 404.  PLEASE BRING YOUR JUROR BADGE AND PARKING TICKET IN WITH YOU.

 During the winter months, there is always a chance that the weather conditions will become inclement.  If the weather looks doubtful in the morning, before leaving fo the courthouse please call the recorded telephone message for updates of delays or closures at (201) 527-2700 Ext. 2812 after 7:30 a.m.

 

Petit jury service is for one day or one trial.  If you are selected for a trial, you must  must  must remain for the duration of the trial and must return to the Courthouse until that trial is completed.  If you are not selected to serve on a trial by the end of the day, you are dismissed.

 

 

 

 

 

 

On-Call Jurors

 

Please check the website or call 201-527-2299 to find out if you will be needed on that day.  On-call jurors must report to work or follow your normal routine.
