Judiciary Marks Anniversary of 9/11 Attacks With Day of Service

The New Jersey Judiciary marked the 10th anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks with a day of service. All 15 vicinages, with the assistance of county bar associations and other legal organizations, commemorated the occasion with memorial services and programs that provided the public with information on a variety of topics, including foreclosure, civil, family and elder law, landlord/tenant and bankruptcy.

At the Richard J. Hughes Justice Complex in Trenton, Chief Justice Stuart Rabner spoke at a memorial service held in remembrance of the victims of the attack. Attorney General Paula T. Dow and Public Defender Joseph E. Krakora also gave remarks.

Nearly 3,000 people died in the attacks, and more than 700 were from New Jersey.
