Mercer Vicinage Probation Joins Local Organizations for National Night Out

The Mercer Vicinage probation division joined local organizations, including the Mercer Prosecutor’s Office, the Mercer County Sheriff’s Office and local fire and police departments, for National Night Out on Aug. 4.

The Mercer Vicinage adult, juvenile and Drug Court supervision officers assisted with the coordination of the event, which included picnics, block parties and cookouts at 33 sites throughout Mercer County to promote positive community involvement.

“I was very pleased to see the high level of enthusiasm and participation in planning and implementing the program,” vicinage Chief Probation Officer Frank DiGiaimo said. “I am very proud of the probation officers and staff who worked on National Night Out. They demonstrated their commitment to community supervision in the Mercer Vicinage.”
