As a school-based probation officer, Jones provides on-site supervision and immediate intervention to students under court jurisdiction by coordinating services with the school, community and family.

Jones received the award at Adelphia Restaurant in Deptford on June 5. His wife Charmaine, his supervisor, Rhonda Dillard, and Assistant Probation Chief Fern Aaronson joined him.

Jones is a graduate of Northern Burlington Regional High School and Temple University
He began his career in the probation division in September 2000.

He said he truly enjoys his job and what he does for Camden City youth.

“Each youth is unique and special to me,” Jones said. “My goal is to place them in the best situation possible where they can prepare for the future which will enable them to be successful members of society.
