Legal Services Workstations in Essex Available to the Public
Essex Vicinage has a new resource for court users, the Legal Services of New Jersey (LSNJ) Law - Legal Aid Workstation.
The workstations have been placed in the court complex to make legal services, publications, court forms and other resources accessible to low-income individuals.
The workstations are located in the court’s information centers:

The free, self-help workstations are available during court hours, Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The workstations allow court users to access information on various topics including:
- Housing (landlord/tenant matters)
- Government benefit issues
- Consumer disputes
- Employment
- Immigration
- Education
- Family (child support, custody and visitation)
- Health care and insurance (disability)
- Courts
- Discrimination
- Seniors and youth
- Finding the law
The workstations include computers equipped with a touch screen. They have English and Spanish language options, large fonts, help menus and a printer. Staff is available to assist users.
