New Judge Takes Oath in BurlingtonBy Donna L. Mazzanti
The oath was administered by Assignment Judge Ronald E. Bookbinder in a private ceremony at the courthouse. “I am grateful that Gov. (Jon) Corzine nominated me for a judgeship,” Palmer said. “I enthusiastically look forward to serving the community in this role and feel very, very honored.” “Judge Palmer will be a great asset to the Burlington County Judiciary,” Bookbinder said. “His extensive background in General Motors and AT&T, as well as his leadership roles in the Boy Scouts of America, will serve us well.” Palmer was an attorney for more than 25 years, most recently in private practice in Jackson, Ocean County, where he resides. He is a graduate of Indiana University School of Law and holds a master’s degree in higher education from Columbia University and a M.B.A. from Roosevelt University. |
