Please be reminded that the Pulaski Skyway will be closed to inbound traffic effective Saturday, April 12, 2014.  Motorists will be unable to travel in the northbound direction, from Newark to Jersey City, for the duration of the construction period.  Construction is anticipated to last for two years.
The impact of this closure will result in unprecedented traffic delays for those commuting to Jersey City.

The attached link will provide some information on the project and alternate routes you may want to use.

The Brennan Court House

In 1893, Hugh Roberts, a Jersey City architect, designed the courthouse to be the cathedral of justice in Hudson County. Constructed of granite, taken from quarries at Hallowell, Maine, and trimmed with copper plates and bronze lanterns, the courthouse was designed in a style described as Beaux Arts or Modern Renaissance. Towering Corinthian pillars, ornate balconies, and carved ornamental scrolls, and lion heads all produce an impression of dignity and elegance. Engraved over the main entrance are the words, “Precedent Makes Law: If You Stand Well, Stand Still”.
