The Cumberland/Gloucester/Salem Vicinage, commonly referred to as Vicinage XV, ranks sixth of New Jersey’s fifteen Vicinages’ in the number of filings. Vicinage XV is comprised of three distinct counties.  Together these three counties encompass the South Western portion of the State of New Jersey.

The Vicinage seat is located in Cumberland County under the administration of the Assignment Judge Georgia M. Curio.

Cumberland County is a mix of urban and rural life as its three major cities of Vineland, Millville, and Bridgeton are surrounded by wide expanses of farmland and undisturbed natural habitat for wildlife.  Its current population is 143,000.

Gloucester County is located between Camden and Salem Counties with its western shore lying along the Delaware River south of Philadelphia.  Within a few miles of the Delaware River, there is a concentration of both industry and people.  East of the New Jersey Turnpike lies extensive farmlands.   The County, which is the home to 247,000 people, is also the homesite for thousands of commuters to the Philadelphia metropolitan area.

Salem County, occupies the Southwest corner of the State, along the last big bend of the Delaware River, directly across for the State of Delaware.  Its 65,000 residents are employed in a variety of occupations; most notably, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, energy, and agriculture.
