Overview of the Vicinage Municipal Division
The Presiding Judge - Municipal Courts (P.J.M.C.) has
overall responsibility and the Municipal Division Manager immediate
responsibility for the administration of the municipal courts of the vicinage,
under the supervision of the Assignment Judge and the Trial Court
Administrator. The P.J.M.C. and the Municipal Division Manager form
an executive component, this relationship in all respects being comparable to
the other models established in
the judiciary. In addition to acting
as liaison for the municipal courts, the Municipal Division develops and
implements vicinage wide policies, procedures and programs for the municipal
courts.
