This section is responsible for accounting for all fees collected as a result of processing all fee court related documents. It also processes all bail posted at the county level.
The processing of Special Civil Part documents is a very fee related process, so the staff responsible for these functions are a part of this section.
In the Bail area, initial balancing occurs when the bail is received from the jail. It is then balanced again after it has been posted to the State Central Automated Bail System (CABS). Staff must also deal with customers on the phone and in person with regards to questions surrounding bail. Once a case is discharged or downgraded this section is responsible for refunding or transferring bail.
The day after all court documents are processed this section is responsible for balancing all work processed through the ACMS, FACTS, and CABS system, making any corrections, preparing the daily deposits, & making entries into the state financial system.
The accurate processing of civil judgements is a very important function completed by this section. Warrants and executions for the Superior Court are also issued by this section.
