The Information Technology Division promotes and supports the efficient use of technology in helping the Bergen Vicinage provide excellent service to the public.

Our primary responsibility is to install, maintain and support the Judiciary computers, printers and systems and assist in the administration of the local computer network while ensuring the Judiciary data and property are secured and protected.

We assist in the planning and implementation of long term technical projects and train court staff on how to best use technology in daily operations while complying with all Judiciary technical policies, procedures and standards.

The IT Division is always looking for the best solutions to continually increase the Bergen Vicinage’s productivity by researching new equipment, applications and methods and participating in the ongoing development of the Vicinage’s presence on the Internet and InfoNet.
