The Nomad is a mobile, stand alone imaging system that can be used to project an object, a document, an electronic presentation, or video recording onto a screen. The unit’s speakers can be used for audio playback. This system may be used to present exhibits or to playback video/audio recordings during trial. The Nomad is available for use in the courtroom upon request.
To request use of the system, complete the Nomad Imaging Unit Request Form, and send the form to the Criminal Division Manager’s Office. Once approved, the request will be forwarded to our Information Technology Division. IT will set up the Nomad and provide instruction on its use. The Information Technology office does not supply a computer with the Nomad unit. If a computer is needed for electronic document imaging, you will need to provide your own compatible equipment. A test for compatibility may be possible prior to use. For more information contact the Criminal Division Manager’s Office.
